About AGAPE KOINONIA ALLIANCE, INC.

Agape Koinonia Alliance, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) non profit public organization, which is qualified to receive tax-deductible charitable bequests, gifts and donations. All monies received will go the specified purposes of the organization.

The governing body consists of five Board Members, who have administrative oversight over

donations received. The Board Members are of Christian faith who are committed to help

reconcile students who don’t have a relationship with Christ and to strengthen the faith of

those of Christian faith, thereby developing strong leaders on the college campus. Also, we

are committed to sharing the “Good News” to local kids and their families. We embrace the

following scripture in our decisions and in our life: “Providing for honest things, not only in

the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men (2 Corinthians 8:21).”

The Goal of the organization is to make a lasting impact by showing unconditional love, practically and spiritually, to the diverse generation of students at the University of California Riverside (UCR) and kids in the surrounding communities.

Mission:

To accomplish our goal with students we will award scholarship (but not limited to) to a number of the socio-economically disadvantaged, who will be entering graduate school, and provide resources to those who go without meals to pay rent; we will also share the “Good News,” establish Life/Bible Study Groups, and conduct various outreach activities. To accomplish our goals with kids and families we will provide school supplies prior to the beginning of the school year and toys/gifts during the Christmas holiday and share the "Good News" via outreaches throughout the year.

A number of students have shared that when they leave home to college for the first time, they have become disconnected from church. In our resource capacity to students and the community, we will serve to connect believers, including those who are novel in their faith or seeking answers, to a local church that teaches sound doctrine. We will endeavor to get the kids and their families involved in local churches as well.
